About Shoot For Par

Our journey started in 2010 when David played golf for the first time. He fell in love with the athleticism and methodology of the sport and began actively improving his game. By 2016, he knew his new lifelong goal was to teach others how to improve with their golf game through fitness & technique.
Since 2022, Shoot For Par has instructed over 1080 hours with over 100 golf enthusiasts.

About His History

About A Dream in 2016, About a Reality in 2022

Our golf story dates back to 2010 when David, a United States Marine on recruiting duty, played golf for the first time. It was then that he became enamored with the sport. Here is a little bit about his certifications.

By 2016, the goal became crystal clear, help others enjoy the sport as much as he did. This involved taking his friends and collegues to the course to play and even purchasing clubs for them if they didn't have them.

A yearning commitment to see his dream fulfilled, David accomplished his goals, one by one to reach the end result.

Below is the summary of each playing season from 2013-2024. To teach golf, you have to have the capability and discipline to apply the knowledge that you have so that you can help others. From the beginning of my golf journey, it took 3 years to break 100, 4 years to break 90, 5 years to break 80, & 10 years to break 75, and 13 years to shoot even par. For most, golf is a process, and you have to trust the process. Results will come with time and effort.

In this book, Par Your Golf BODY©, we are going to cover golf’s physical discipline, toughness, and fortitude required for you to play successfully. As with my previous book, expect this one to be no different. I will be brutally honest because in order for you to achieve greatness, you need the truth. There are no shortcuts when it comes down to physical fitness. You either train or you do not train. Once-a-week training does not cut it. Once-a-day training is the minimum.

Welcome everyone to a requested third book, Par Your Golf GAME©. So far, I have elaborated in detail from the previous two books on how to control the mind in the pre-shot and post-shot routines in Par Your Golf MIND© and how to equip yourself with the very best strength, speed, and conditioning techniques in Par Your Golf BODY©. So, there are only two things left under your control. They are your golf game and how you hit your shots and your golf equipment and whether your gear is perfect for you and how you play.
