Golf Travel
Golf travel is nothing new to some of us, but for those of you that have started playing golf just at the beginning of the pandemic in 2019, you may not be aware of its significance. To you, if may be satisfying just playing the same golf course over and over because you get to play. I would tell you that the world of golf is like a book, and you’ve only read a paragraph if you think that way. There are approximately 15,500 golf courses right here in the United States, which accounts for 43% of all golf courses in the world. Most of your yardage G.P.S. like Bushnell or Garmin tell you that your watch or gadget comes with 40,000 pre-loaded courses. That’s a ton of courses for you to have access to yardage wise. At Shoot For Par, we aim to get you to some of those courses.
So, if you were not aware, my wife Andrea and I have decided to venture into the travel business. Both of us have seen our share of the United States and my military service has taken me to 26 countries around the world. There is no reason why you should not have an opportunity to travel to Hilton Head, S.C. and play Old South Golf Links, or the Legends at Parris Island, S.C. or even perhaps you like a more country atmosphere, and you elect to play Blue Top Ridge Golf Course at Riverside, Iowa. Literally there are golf courses all over that are fantastic in their accommodations. Through the Travel Institute we are acquiring the knowledge for travel and will take the TAP test (Travel Agent Proficiency) within the year. Once that is concluded, our brand Red, White, & Bon Voyage will begin taking clients not only for golf travel and events, but travel around the world! Do you have a location dream you’d like to see become a reality? Stay tuned, we might just make that happen for you! Golf travel and beyond!
