Club Services Certifications
We’ve gone to great lengths to make sure we have the knowledge and understanding to execute our club services to a standard that would make anyone happy to play a club that we have made. We can repair clubs, lengthen, shorten, build, and even character stamp on your wedges. What we are most proud of, however, is we can see your swing speed and tempo in the simulator and have a shaft in mind to suit your swing. Most golfers “want to get better” before they go to a club fitting.
What a club fitter knows, is that your non fitted shafts may not ever fit your swing speed and tempo, and therefore you will compensate. This will lead to a swing that is not comfortable and/or unfavorable distances and accuracy. Then when you do get fitted, you’ll have to adjust yet again. As if golf isn’t difficult enough, now you have to change everything.
The right thing to do, from the very beginning, is get fitted for clubs that match you right now, where you are. After all, if you need lessons, and you spend hundreds of dollars on them, wouldn’t you be the least bit interested if your pulled shots or your slices was because of the club multiplying your swing error? Please understand that a golf fitting is like shopping for shoes. You try them on for size and for comfort, so that you have an idea to what you need AND what feels best. From there, you shop around until you’re ready to commit.
A fitter’s job is to ensure you’re not a size 6.5 trying to fill 13W shoes. Now matter what you do, the clubs will never fit you. On the same token, we understand ego gets in the way and if you’re not playing a STIFF flex, then you are socially berated. The truth is that there are regular flexes out there that play stiffer than other brands stiff flex. What truly matters and always will is your swing speed and your tempo. We are in the process of building our shaft profile but understand we can provide you with the guidance you need to choose carefully and wisely club, shaft, and grip options.
